School Site Council Meeting Dates

Dear Parent(s) and/or guardian(s) of Yerba Buena Elementary students:

As part of the school plan we encourage the involvement of parents and families in the education of their children. I would like to cordially invite you to be a part of the School Site Council. 

The SSC meets monthly throughout the year to decide how we can best meet the educational needs of your children.  The job of the SSC is to:

1) Measure the effectiveness of improvement strategies at the school

2) Seek input from school advisory committees (ELAC, PFA, Staff)

3) Reaffirm or revise school goals

4) Revise improvement strategies and expenditures

5) Recommend the approved Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA)to the governing board

6) Monitor implementation of the SPSA.

The SSC meetings for the 2025-2026 school year will be held in the principal’s office at 3pm on the following dates: September 11, December 4, February 19, and May 15.
