Q: Where can I get a registration packet?
A: Registration packets for new kindergarten students are available now in the Yerba Buena office from 9:00-3:00 every day.
Q: When is registration?
A: Registration for all new kindergarten children in Las Virgenes Unified School District begins Wednesday, April 2, 2008 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM and 1:00 to 3:00 PM.
Q: Is my child eligible for kindergarten?
A: In order to be eligible for entrance to kindergarten this August, a child must have been born ON OR BEFORE DEC. 2, 2003.
Q: What do I need to bring to register?
A: You need to bring the following:
- Proof of Birth
- 2 Proofs of Residence (Gas, water, and electric bills ONLY. Driver's licenses and telephone bills are NOT acceptable.)
- Proof of Completed Mantoux (TB) test
- Proof of Immunization
- Report of Health Exam for School Entry
- Report of Dental Exam for School Entry
Q: Can I visit the school?
A: New parent tours are currently scheduled for March 20, April 4, and April 18 at 8:30 AM. More tours may be scheduled. Check our website.
IMPORTANT: Parents are urged to register early. Due to possible overcrowding at some schools, late registrants may be place at the nearest alternate school site which can accommodate additional students.
Still confused? Office staff will go over the registration packet and procedures with you when you pick your packet up.
